Muller Brau is one of the nicest basic pilseners I’ve had in a long while, and vastly more congenial than most of the other basic Swiss brews. A clean foretaste--more malty than hoppy (I know most RB readers are hop-heads but I’ll take malt over hop any day of the week). One could spend a pleasant evening pounding these back...

Bottled. Clear golden with a small bubbly white foam. Weak aroma of hay, rubber and metal. Light bodied with touches of grass, straw and peas with a thin papery aftertaste with touches of minerals.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Pale golden, airy head. Fruity melon aroma. Sweet and fruity, light-medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel and low bitterness. Flawless but dull.

Very aggressive taste. Notes of lemon and metal. Rather sweet. Poor finish.

Bottle@Spiesys. Super bland, corny flavour, reminded me of Busch, pretty much no flavour at all.

Bottled.Static gold brew with sudsy grey head. Corn, grain, adjunct, nonsense. Beer for trippers and drunks. [London gathering: Spiesy, Duff, chris_o, Marty-D and SilkTork]

Beer #22 at Spiesy’s. Bleugh! Gold colour. Adjunct ridden aroma. Dull palate. No discernible flavour. Terrible. I reckon even most "average beer drinkers" would turn their noses up at this one.

Can @ Spiesy’s gaff. Pale corn lager appearance. Tinned lager aroma. Sweet corn flavour. Nasty. Nasty. Nasty.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2012 from Bierhütte - bright and clear golden beer with a poor head retention; very neutral nose with hints of plastic, malt and corn; medium-bodied, subtle carbonation; low bitterness and some late citrusy tartness; quite dry and short gently corny finish - inoffensive and boring
