3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep chestnut-brown hazy hue, yeasty, shy fruity aromas, follow through on a medium-bodied palate with fruity flavors of raisins, prunes, burnt brown sugar, with an acidic and vinous accent in a sweet malted finish.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Chestnut brown cloudy/muddy body topped with an average off-white foamy head. Decent sweet/fruity (grape, raspberries) aroma. Taste is not particularly enjoyable. Strange mix of yeasty and artificial fruit juice (Kool-Aid) flavors with some sour hints. I give it a bonus point for a good hiding of the alcohol. Ends with a fairly long and bittersweet finish. Tastes like something made from concentrate.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Interesting artwork on the label, a sort of double edge sword with orc-like warriors in the background. The label says Rousse Triple or Red Tripel, whatever... I split this Beer with a friend, and the top half had nothing to do with the bottom half. The top was mahogony red, with a strong fluffy head, and my half was sceptic tank brown with plenty of sediment and only a slight lace. Bready yeast nose, a little prune and butterscotch, lactic and a touch of solvent, that turned to a more leathery aroma near the end. Had a sourness that may or may not be infection-related, but besides that, it was like what I could only imagine those liquid yeast starter packs would taste like if you drank them straight up, mixed with a little grain alcohol to give it a strong bite. All yeast, with little to no malt to give any body. I have another bottle sitting in my cellar, we’ll see in a few months if the yeast will give way to something else flavor-wise.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a reddish amber color with a medium offwhite head. Strong aroma of grape juice, that’s not a good thing to start with, there’s a very mild spicy and yeasty thing in the aroma too. Not particulary pleasant flavor of grape juice and yeast with mild spices. Light to medioum body, oily texture that leaves a dry mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not enjoyable at all, I don’t like the fruit juice feeling.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A faint fruity odor of grapes, prunes and cherries rises from the seemingly powerful yeast. All is somewhat stale and near inodorous.
Fruity esters (cherries dominating) aptly combine with the decent malt body, but a fizzy carbonation and strong Belgian yeast flavor undermine it all. A metallic twang in the back surges from the dusty, dry-soil-like yeast for an all-around amateurish flavor spectrum.
A fruit field after a dust storm. What a waste.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Brownish ultra effervescent cranberry juice appearance. This excessive carbonation feeds a decent creamy white head, not very laced, but lasting and stable. Sweet lemony and fruity nose, strong earthy hints, milder cloves. Finish surprises with an sour bite and even more for its shortness. Could be pretty good with a more cohesive hop bill, as it is, the bitterness is pretty much limited to a sandy/earthy mellow dryness. Mouthfeel is heavily carbonated, very juicy with its berries and banana notes. Well contained 9% ABV. Not very authentic...
