Thin sloppy head of large bubbles. Does not last long. No real carbonation ot speak of. Decent aroma with some grapes, roasted grains, a bit of coffee in the background and some alcohol. Color is a dark crimson brown. Slightly sour flavor that makes the mouth water. More roasted grains and grapes. Noticable alcohol presence. Finishes smokey and tart. A interesting and different brew. A dubbel, not really. Thanks to etowneraser for this one.

(Rating #1364)

Poor is dark brown with no head whatsoever. Aromas of prunes, salty nuts, brown sugar, hints of maple syrup, soy... This "liquid" smells ALOT better than what it tastes... First thought, grape juice syrup and rhubarb.... no effervescence whatsoever... Trafalgar wannabe....
