Leighton 10K tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Mr 10K. Opaque black - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is softish and airy. Very fine carbonation. The dark malts are not too heavy but are tangy and carry a little bitter coffee. Touch of red berry fruits. Mild pine. Light dry finish with a mild bitter linger. All right!

JanLaursen (3025) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2014
Flaske, 33 cl. Sort. Voluminøst beige skum. Krydderurter, grapefrugt, lakrids, svømmehal. Lækker maltkrop, sort og ristet og rund. God humlebitter finish. Bedre end den tidligere version fra Midtfyn. Sjældent god Black IPA.

Bottle@ Chez Bruce. Deep brown, small head. Deep brown, small head. Pretty cheesy. Dank underarm and aggressive tropical fruits. Much. Ore malt-driven flavours. Plenty of roasted grain, bitter chocolate. Grape gushers. Light, nimble. Active carbonation. Tasty.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours darkest brown a thick light tan head. The nose is fresh, piney, varnish, orange peel, potpourri, juicy and soap. The taste is dirty, piney, varnish, roasted malt, varnish, earth, cocoa, grapefruit and orange peel with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Decent black IPA.
