COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 2, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 Bottle 75 cl. Pours a dark brown with an orange hue and an off-white head. Sweet burned caramel in the nose, toffee and some booze. Very solid and rich body, roast, nuts, caramel with a whiff of smoke. The finish is a bit boozy with the alcohol not so well integrated. But a man’s beer indeed! 020412

75cl Bottle @ Carlsens Kvarter, Odense. Pours dark unclear amber with a creamy head and lacings. Vinous and rich nose. Dark fruit, brown sugar, caramel and chocolate. Quite complex. Flavor is a bit boozy. Alcohol is a tad too upfront. But overall very nice - in a way it reminds me of a good dark trappist. Smooth and full bodied.
