Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Deep copper, quite hazy, huge dense beige head. Smell of citrus, zest, grapefruit and malts. Heavy sweet, dark fruits, plums, citrus, zess, resins, some pine, a grapefruit bomb in the end. Heavy bitter finish, resins, resins resins! Qute well balanced, lovely hops and a exquisite malt profile

04.12.2014, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly concentrated grassy, pine needles, hops, leafs, rubber, wet grass, light malts, alcohol, moss, citrus peel, hints of dried fruits. Taste is slightly harsh resiny, pine needles, moss, bark, hops, leafs, rubber, grass, citrus peel, dried fruits, sugar, light malts. Longlasting bitterness, dry slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Cloudy, medium amber body with an off-white, long-lived head, good lacing. Strong hoppy aroma of overripe tropical fruits, especially mango, but also pineapple and orange further behind. Sweet caramel is also evident, and there are spices in the back. Strong flavour of tropical fruits with grapefruit and pine in the long finish. Quite a lot of caramel and a bit too sweet toffee (bordering on butterscotch) in the back. It’s quite sweet, but also magnificently bitter. Pleasant mouthfeel, full-bodied, smooth and oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice DIPA, although it would have been even better with less toffee.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy red-orange colour with a big, compact, beige head. Aroma of pine, fruity hops, grapefruit, butterscotch, diacetyl and mowned grass. The flavour has lots of grassy hops, pine, grapefruit and leather. Has a rich and slick mouth feel, and a heavy bitterness. A solid DIPA, but too bad with the diacetyl, and the taste feels a little unbalanced with all the hops. Every hophead would love this though.

Bottle, 9.4%. Good fruity and salty hop aroma, seems to have a bit of smoke. Cloudy red orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is sweet and bitter. Has a good orangey hop flavour and a little more smoke. The smoke seems unintended, but it tastes all right.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with some estery notes and hoppy touches. Sweetish, fruity and malty taste, complemented by bitter, hoppy notes, enhanced by citric touches. Lingering bitter and slightly sweetish afteraste. Oily texture. Well-hidden alcohol considering the ABV. Decent.

Desverger (2386) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2014
Tap@Lord Nelson, Copenhagen - very hazy amber coloured pour with medium off-white head. Tropical fruity and malty aroma and taste, some caramel, juicy grapefruit, pine needles, full mouthfeel, powerful hoppy bitter finish. Lovely.

ClubGonzo (4238) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 25, 2014
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange body with a small off-white head. Nose is rose water, peaches, caramel, pine, herbs and hints of butterscotch and grass. Taste is grass, pine, caramel, lichi, mild pineapple and hints of resin, butterscotch and grapefruit. Medium body and medium to high carbonation. Not very impressive; the diacetyl hints and bitter resinous touches in the aftertaste does not compute well.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber pour with tan head. Aroma has flowers and tropical fruits. Taste is full with loads of bitterness. The high ABV is clear. Ends bitter

Sample from bottle at Vecturamesse. Acceptable hops, not too bad. Will re-rate if I get a full bottle.
