Rune (1839), Tromsø, Norway Jun 22, 2008 500ml can - from bad to worse (I had a Munkholm bottle before this one). Straw coloured body under a frothy white head. Metallic citric to the nose. Flavour is dominated by dried vegetables. Lively carbonated. Avoid! (07.06.2008).
RuneStumo (158), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Aug 14, 2008 14.08.2008, 0,5l Can. The colour is straw-yellow and the head is firm with big bobbles. The beer smells and tastes sweet. The texture is thin. Gr0ve (1123), Oslo, Norway Jun 10, 2007 500 ml can. Light golden colour. Tall white coarse head. Lots of carbonation. Clean grainy aroma with a little floral hops. Smells like a pile of grain. Crisp hop flavours. Very light body. The flavour is quite bitter because of little body. Grassy. Quite refreshing and not too bad for a non-alcohol beer. The hops are much more present in a beer like this than in the brewerys standard pilsener. If you like the aroma of grain and flavour of crisp grassy hops this is a nice one. OleR (1382), Oslo, Norway May 17, 2007 Shiny pale yellow/golden. Thin, mostly lasting white head. Rather bready aroma, but not overly sweet as most of the Norwegian n/a’s. Nice scents of grassy hops as well. Grainy sweetness in the flavor. Hop’s not entirely absent. Skinny body, but a nice treat and very welcome if you’re lost in a desert. Beer2000 (1312), Kristiansand, Norway May 5, 2007 500ml can. Pale, golden body with a white head. A gentle, clean, fresh hop aroma. Flavor is not bad consideration a non-alcoholic beer. A bit sweet, malty and floral flavor. Watery as expected with a short finish.
