Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 8, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Clear, dark amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly spicy nose. Naturally quite thin-bodied with notes of cardboard and metal and a vague exotic spicing. 180807 yespr (7843), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 19, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a little white head. Slight buttery and malty aroma with minor spice note. Slight caramel sweet flavour, slight hoppiness. Sweet to dry finish. MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany Nov 7, 2007 Bottle. Sweet, toasted bread aroma. Clear shiny copper colour, small white head. A little caramel flavour. Fades away in aftertaste except a hint of metal. Not much of the horrible bitterness you often get in Alkofreis. yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Nov 5, 2006 Updated: Dec 6, 2006Bottled. Clear, golden with a decent off-white head leaving nice lacings. Malty and bready aroma with some sweet fruityness. Thin and sticky body with caramel-sweetness and bready notes. Some fruity notes as well. The finish is malty and sweet. The other Munkholm Spesial Jul is marginally better than this one in my opinion. If one needs a non-alcohol alternative, Norway has finally got not only one, but two choices. (061105) gunnfryd (2840), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 16, 2007 Bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head.
