*Old rating, best before 11.08.2010.

50 cl bottle.
Pours clear pale golden color with a large white head. Very grassy on the nose with some pale malts. Hay, some metallic notes and clove on the flavor. Slick bitter palate. A bit harsh and has some metallic off-notes, not good.

Sampled on the Danube - Aroma of sweet malts with a clear golden hue with a lasting whit head and minimal lacing. The taste is malt forward - politely sweet toasted malts with a slightly dry finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, not as strong tasting as some Märzens I’ve tasted.

33cl screwtop bottle. Directly from Austria. Thx Robert! Aroma of barley and oats. Sweet, fruity and a dash sugary. Pours pale yellow with frothy head that goes in 5 sec. Lively carbonated, below medium bodied lager. Easy brew and easy to drink.
