COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pasteurised. Available bottled, and in nitro keg and can versions.
Ingredients: Malted barley, chocolate malt, water, hops and yeast.
First brewed in Lady's Well Brewery, Cork in 1856. Heineken purchased the brewery in 1983. Beer now produced in Heineken Nederland.
Also known as Irish Amber and Draught Irish Ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber color with very little head. Nose is a little malty, but I don’t get a lot of smell off this. Taste is awfully malty and tad bitter. Not all that great.

Bastante decepcionante. Lo mejor que tiene es su color rojo. Bastante aguada y pobre de sabor. El amargor es ligerísimo.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Coop. Copper red with a thin off-white head. Malty aroma. Malty taste with some caramel. A light earthy tone in the aftertaste. Not a taste explosion but quit nice in its own way.

On tap schipol airport. Reddish brown beige head that stays as a thin layer .not much aroma -a hint of fruitiness .taste sweetish start with caramel hint. Modest bitterness at finish. Thin mouthfeel. Harmless but not on par with a decent bitter.
