Burnt caramel with a little floral skunk and just a hint of berry at the end. Light bodied with a sonewhat thin texture. Luvely carbonation but not much of a finish. Overall, not bad. But nothing to write home about.

2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber body with a rather large frothy beige head that slowly faded. The nose is slightly fruity with some husky and toasted malt, some minimal touches of hops. The flavor is pretty weak and bland, a little toasted malt, some grainy huskiness, a little too much lingering sweetness. Thin and fizzy body with a lingering grainy finish. Not a very exciting beer, in style that rarely is.

Aroma: some kind of woody smell.
Appearance: Amber/red color, clear liquid. The head is minimal white/tan.
Taste: light bitterness and light sourness which finish a bit salty. An average duration
Palate: light body, oily texture and a average carbonation
Overall: a nice pub beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A - Pours a clear amber brown. Huge 3 finger heads
S - Earthy grain, muted spice, bready malt, metallic notes.
T - Slighlty sweet caramel, along with some grain. Some earthy bitterness show up. Unfortunately some metal. Tea-like tannins coat the mouth on the finish for a dry aftertaste.
This is an easy drinking beer. Good dry finish. My only complaint about this was the metallic flavors coming through. Otherwise a good Irish Red.
