Pours out a reddish amber with a thick white head. Aroma is light wheat and grass-y grains. Taste is refreshing though lacking in any distinct flavor. Bitter wheat taste with toasty aftertaste. Palate is very thin, almost like water.

Kind of drinkable beer, with a strange but nice aroma and a good clean taste.

Aroma acanelado, doce e refrescante. Cor âmbar, muito pouco turva. Creme espumoso, levemente marrom, com boa persistência. Amarga e bastante fluida, não encorpada. Bastante perene o sabor. Também bastante alcólica. Trava um pouco.

Koperen kleur met redelijke kraag. Ruikt iets fruitig en verder standaard. Smaakt als een palmpje.

Bought a bottle at the supermarket. The beer has a golden color with a red glow and broken white head, CO2 level is average. The aroma is complex, but I guess some hints of strawberries and lemon. The taste has hints of toffee, and CO2 refreshes the beer. Also there is some little bitterness noticable. The finish is short with a hint of laurel. A nice Ale, a little watery but certainly not bad.

Bottle from wegmans. Pours clear reddish orange with a small off white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is a bit off but does have some caramel malt sneaking out. The taste is caramel, sweet, and has a light hop presence.

worldbeertaste (1672) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2013
Reddish amber with a medium, fizzy, off-white, lacy, lasting, head. Grassy citrus, malty, roast hay, caramel smell with a slight processed twist. Medium thin body with medium prickly carbonation. Tastes strangely artificial like they added flavourings. Tastes of dark malt, caramel with a sort of red berry additive that gives an astringent taste. Grassy finish. It was ok.

While this beer is very drinkable it is a long way short of what the style should deliver. Enjoying after trekking all over Monaco.
