2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours dark amber, middle white off top. On nose - malt, fruity-berries, alco, but not intense at all. Taste is semisweet, bit bubbly-spicy on tongue, very light hpped. Palate - medium body, bit slick mouthfeel, above average carbonation, very little dry finish. Overall - bubly candy drink with 5%. Not bad but not worth also

It was pouring okay, then it just foamed up really quickly. The color is a amber to red.
The aroma is crushed grain and a mild caramel.
The taste has a watery start, mild bitterness in the middle, finishes with a mild sweetness. Unoffensive.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Nothing special, but an easy drinker.

Bottle- I remember drinking this in a Railway station in Grenoble, France in 2006. I don’t know why I didn’t rate it then. The beer really looks like a glass of Cheerwine, with a slight malt aroma. Some caramel in the taste with a slight watery taste. Produce place, $0.99.

Clear deep copper with a good gnarly head and swirly lace. My bottle says Murphy’s Premium Red Ale (Irish Style). I am supposing that is Irish Red Beer. The taste is somewhat major American: not much malt at the onset, followed by carbonation that adds a bit of caramel, fading to a watery finish. Not bad...hardly enough, especially at 5%abv. How is their stout so good and this so ordinary?

Bottle of 300 ml, well, two actually, to fill the half litef Guinness glass I poured it into. ABV is 5,0%.
Colour is deep red/ light amber, with a nice three finger soapy head, with average retention. A minimal amount of bubbles rising to the surface. Foam leaves mo lacing behind it.
Aroma of roasted malts and light caramel.
Taste is also of roasted malts, some caramel sweetness and nice bitterness, bringing in mind dark chocolate. Some iron flavour on the aftertaste, that thankfully doesn’t stay for long and is being overpowered by the bitterness.
Thin to medium body and light carbonation.
Overall not bad.

Es una cerveza amarga con cierto gusto a caramelo y color rojizo. Espuma cremosa. Cuerpo ligero. Es refrescante.
