A - Pours a clear amber brown. Huge 3 finger heads S - Earthy grain, muted spice, bready malt, metallic notes. T - Slighlty sweet caramel, along with some grain. Some earthy bitterness show up. Unfortunately some metal. Tea-like tannins coat the mouth on the finish for a dry aftertaste. This is an easy drinking beer. Good dry finish. My only complaint about this was the metallic flavors coming through. Otherwise a good Irish Red. Serving type: bottle 09-18-2010

Espuma alta y consistente. Buen cuerpo. Sabor intenso a diacetilo. Olor nulo. No cumple con la espectativa

Cobriza, de escasa espuma. Ligero sabor a caramelo y amargor notable. Combinación de lúpulos y maltas diferentes consiguen una cerveza bastante interesante. Refrescante y bebible.

Zonnig terrasje, Irish Red voor de verandering. Weinig verschil met normaal pils, misschien ietsje bitterder. Niet onder de indruk dus.

Espuma bonita pero poco duradera. Burbuja fina, inconsistente, aroma algo tostado. Sabor olvidable

Aroma: Lean caramel with moderate sweetness; light old tobacco leaf. Appearance: Rusty red, lightly carbonated pour with a fizzy tan head that quickly fades into a barely patchy skin. Flavor: Slightly bready caramel that develops a touch of wood; the finish dries out well enough and leaves a woody tang. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Didn’t do much for me; if I wanted a cheap mass produced Irish Red at the local faux Irish pub, I’m still reaching for a Smithwicks.

Low carbonation but pours with a decent white head on a reddish body. Decent platable Irish red, without being anything extraordinary. Some caramel, a little citrus, with a balance of sweetness and some bitterness in the finish.

Perhaps the most famous Irish red, available all over the world either bottled or kegged.

Nice clear red color. The beer has a thin layer of white foam. It looks nice. The smell is simple. It has some metal and a regular beer scent with a little fruity sweetness on top. The beer has a nice bitterness. It has some nice almond aromas. The beer develops in taste the more sips you take. At first it is quite regular, but after a wile you discover rich beer. There is also a little citrus in the taste.

backlog, from draft at a pub in my town, 50cl., clear red colour with a small white layer, sweet caramel, grains, crisp bread malts, cardboard, grass, not my kind of beer
