HansJM (358), Norway Feb 13, 2005 An uncomplicated and light beer. Some fruit, some sweetness and OK hops. Nothing to get excited about, but nothing to get angry about either. Middle of the road mass-produced beer..
Rune_Stumo (67), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Aug 16, 2008 16.08.2008, 0,5l Can. Canned by Hansa Borg Bryggerier AS, Norway, ABV 4,7%. The colour is amber red. Firm head that lasts. Medium body with creamy texture. The beer is a little sweet with some bitternes in the aftertaste. mdm46410 (545), Griffith, Indiana, USA Aug 13, 2008 Poured from a 16oz can and served in an English pint glass. This beer poured a clear, light mahogany hue with a large, fluffy head of off-white foam. Decent lacing. The aroma of the beer was made up of toasted malts, mild caramel, and corn. The flavor was highly metallic and contained faint notes of caramel and toasted grains. The mouthfeel was watery and light-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Corn and metal...not my cup of tea. Borresteijn (427), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 10, 2008 On tap. Amber colour, creamy head. Aroma of malts and iron, watery. Flavour is of roasted malts, a little caramel. Slight bitterness. OK beer. AndrewKScott (319), Lemont, Illinois, USA Aug 6, 2008 Pretty lame beer. Usually I’m a big fan of red ales, but I had this on tap at the Fatman Bowl in Lake bluff, and it was pretty pedestrian. Drinkable, but wouldn’t have again. neo_hippie2 (114), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Aug 4, 2008 I was a bit disappointed with this beer. I was expecting a good full-flavored, robust red beer bursting with lots of caramelized malt flavor. But what I got tasted like if they made a "light" red beer, this is what it would taste like. It wasn’t repulsive, but it definitely left much to be desired. I guess the best word for this beer would be "eh..."
