Pours orange amber into an English pint. Bright white micro head quickly recedes to skim surface. Detergent aromas. Rather non-descript sparkly caramel. Slight bitter finish.

Mmmmm, nothing says "Irish" like a dutch-brewed beer! Pale amber, caramel aroma with a faint bourbon-barrel quality to it. Low bitterness, a little thin.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malts and some light grassy notes. The taste was fairly skunked; sweet caramel malts, light hops and grassy flavors also. Overall, decent, but a bit off. Slightly bitter finish.

Not a good beer. I don’t know why I thought it would be good. Crisp and dry with bitterness.
