tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA Apr 21, 2008 Can. Decent beer. I like reds, though they are pretty standard. Good amount of hops and malt. Beautiful looking brew.
AmazonMatt (257), Panama Jul 6, 2008 From a can. Easy drinking. Pours a dark amber/copper with a decent head. I found that this was well balanced and refreshing. Not very hoppy or malty. Not remarkable, but highly quaffable?!? I’d drink again, especially in the humid rainy season here in Panama. puggy211 (288), cordova, Tennessee, USA Jul 5, 2008 Can. Pours a mahogany red with a fluffy head that fades quicky. Aroma is light grassy hop with roasted malt. Flavor is smooth roasted malt with a finish of hops that come through at the end. Not the best irish beer but is ok. italianjohn (56), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 2, 2008 Looks better than it tastes pours a real attractive amber with a creamy head and just has a simple taste wasn’t what i expected probably tasted better when the irish made it just lacks flavor hardly any bitter in this brew greedycheater (69), Oklahoma, USA Jun 25, 2008 Deep amber pour with a white head that diminishes leaving a good amount of lacing. Aroma is at first sweet, then wheat-like. Tastes slightly salty but dominated by malt creaminess. Dry finish. Fair overall. (Have to agree with Linus_Stick, "tastes like a beefed up macro.") markwise (195), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 22, 2008 Very disappointed in what I remember from this beer. On draft at Fiddler’s Green in Winter Park this beer has the typical Irish Red color with about a finger of white head. It is served in the Guiness pint glass, but I swear I taste rice in there. I did not like it; it was not like I remembered it. I’m looking for a good Irish red... this was not it.
