A great looking beer, no doubt about that - and it smells even better. But will I ever love the taste of a Stout-beer??? I doubt it!!! Simply to bitter for me!!!

on tap. what a great looking beer. Black as night contrasting a creamy rich head. Dry, creamy, very slight chalky aftertaste. Great irish stought.

Overall good stout, similar to Guinness, but with more aftertaste, seems to be like burnt malt.

Opaquely black in colour, with the fantastic tan head straight from the widget can! Very subtle smell with hints of malt. The taste is a little bitter, but an all-around great taste with a somewhat smokey aftertaste!

Well, I don’t drink this kind of beer to often. It was warming, bitter but it seemed a bit boring. Thanks Doug!

Creamier and not as sweet as Guinness, which is fine by me. Now if they could get rid of the soapiness....

My favorite of the widget canned stouts. I love the Guinness but this stout takes the cake. More creamy and not quite as bitter as the standard.

A decent stout that is good to retry every once in a while. However, I find that there are better "nitro" beers than this one, like, guinness. A decent beer to try, but only that. If you're a fan of stouts then go or it.

The less widely available (slightly) but equal in quality competition to Guinness. Let's face it, this one is probably just as good as the draught can guinness.

Unfortunately I sampled Murphys in a nitro can, and I am not a big fan of nitrogen based beers. Still, cannot argue with appearance of a nitro pour. Rich, dark opaque with the epitome of a creamy head. Nice roasted flavor with a touch of sweet maltiness. Hops are bitter and a background flavor. I just can't get over that dry nitro palate ...
