3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2014 A high quality beer compared to many other medium-strength beers. On the other hand, it may be because I’m a sucker for Irish stout. Drunk on tap.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Well I enjoyed a pint of this beer perhaps under the most unusual of circumstances, had this at a combination British style pub and hookah bar in downtown West Jerusalem. First off, let me make the comment that this paired oddly well with some vanilla hookah, haha who'd a thought that? Anyway I found this Irish dry stout to be identical to Guinness in almost every way, although I actually thought this had a more complex flavor with chocolate and roasted malt flavors, along with a stronger aroma. Also I was pleased with the fact that this seemed a bit lighter on the palate, but still was very flavorful. This will be my new go-to Irish stout.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mildly hoppy and caramel aroma. Very dark brown nearly black. Nice creamy but slight head. Thick tasting and hoppy caramel taste.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Somewhat underrated I think, this pours a nice creamy black color with creamy tan head. Cocoa, roasted malt, and a little coffee on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes very roasty.

1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Molto simile alla guinnes, piatta e senza carattere. Come stout è davvero il minimo accettabile.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 5, 2014 Very dark pour with a beautiful creamy head. Smells of dark chocolate and coffee and roasted malt. Big coffee front followed by chocolate and a bit of sweet malt. The downside about this stout is it seems a bit thin.

Full flavor. Dark brown, almost black with a beautiful thick foamy head. Similar to any guinness.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From a fairly chilled, canned 14.9 and following the directions from the container’s other side, poured into an english pint glass (that I’d washed quickly under cold water) and an inch and a half of tarred ice cream beer foam that is most flavorful happens.
A stout that stays inside your deepest taste buds.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nitro can at home, 440 ml, poured into a big Guinness glass, ABV 4%
Dark bronn colour, almost black, with one finger of tan head on top, thick, begins bubbly but eventually becomes steady and creamy, with very good retention, leaving heavy lacing on the glass.
Aroma of light roasted malts, faint cocoa, something herbal andor peppery.
Taste of oats, milky chocolate, roasted malts on the finish, sweet with a light bitterness on the aftertaste.
Body is medium thick, carbonation on the low side but it works, creamy and smooth on the palate.
Nice beer, honest stout.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Black color, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and licorice. Taste has similar notes - dry sweet with mildly bitter roasty finish. Medium body, creamy texture and very soft carbonation. Decent stout, simple but highly drinkable.
