4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
I am very fond of this stout having first discovered it by accident in a remote County Kerry pub, early on in my beer drinking career and was at that time still finding Guinness too bitter so this was pleasant surprise.
Sadly I can only get the widget cans here but it will do and is very cheap.
I very much the roasty creamy taste of this stout and the hint of bitter chocolate in the background never quits. Please give this one a go.

Nitro-can: (as Imported Stout Draught Style)
Pours deep, cascading , layered browns with a frothy, tan/oatmeal head.
Chocolate and coffee aroma.
Flavour is bitter, dark chocolate, cream....
Slightly roasty and smoky chocolate malt.
A little ashy bittering.
Light and slightly watery, but very pleasant.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can: pours a lovely black-brown with a tan head. Aromas are roasty, and chocolate. Taste is much the same, but a bit thin on the mouthfeel. I enjoy this one quite a bit. Any beer with nitro does it for me, though in my experience.

Good stout in a can and easy to drink. A little thin on the palate but very smooth. Flavor is light but chocolate and malty goodness.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at a bar in Orillia, Ontario with my Dad. Pours Very Dark Brown, beige head. Nose is dusty, roasted malt, coffee. Flavour is not too dry, creamy, slight ashiness. A classic, I think I have a slight preference for Guinness Draught but would like to do a head-to-head blind taste test one day.

Draught in Shanghai. Looks pretty, dark and brooding in the glass with foamy tan head. Roasted malt nose-check. Dark chocolate and espresso flavours- check. Body a little light, and flavours simple, but does the job.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Beautiful looking beer, unfortunately the taste doesnít live up to the looks. Itís not bad, but for such a dark beer with a nice, thick head, itís pretty watery stuff. The taste is not unpleasant though.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Pours dark brown in color with a creamy medium sized beige head and cascading bubbles. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, chocolate and coffee with cream. The problem is everything is very mild. Light body, light aroma and light flavor.

Pours black with tan head from nitro can. Not a lot of aroma but some coffee. Definite coffee flavor with creamy mouthfeel. Good beer.
