Niente di incredibilmente memorabile, ma sia in casa sua che a volte in bottiglia qui da noi l’ho sempre trovata molto bevibile...

Cask, somewhere in London when on holiday. Great looking stout: pitch black, opaque color, thick off-white to beige vast creamy head. Smell coffee and lightly bitter. Taste is coffee, roasty, bitter. Pretty nice. Low carbo, low body.

Tasted from can into standard pint glass. Very dark, opaque brown, almost black color with huge, thick, creamy, lasting off-white foam. Excellent roasty aroma. Tastes of baking bread with burnt crusts (in a good way), coffee, chocolate, molasses, maybe even a hint of black licorice. Highly carbonated, but not harsh. A little residual sweetness but mostly dry finish. A very tasty stout. I’d love to try an imperial strength version.

This brew has one wicked upward-cascading foaming action (much like a Boddington’s Pub Ale) that imparts one of the creamiest heads of foam I have ever seen! This brew poured up a pitch black colored body and a creamy off-white colored head with long-lasting retention and lacing effects. Aromas of dark roasted malts, burnt sugar, and warm caramel. Flavors of the same in this ultra creamy brew. Medium-bodied with a dry finish having lingering aftertastes of sweet malts. A bit on the ‘thin’ side as I was wishing it to be a bit more thick-n-chewy but still it’s a good brew to have!

Can 500ml. Pours with a downward appearance foam common with nitrogen. Dark brown/black with a thick nice foam. Creamy lightly roasted taste. Not bad.
