Pours an opaque black with a light brown head that lingers and lingers. The nose is roasted chocolate malt. The palate is medium heavy body with chocolate malt and a light bitterness lighter than Guinness.

Keg, looks a bit artificial with a black body and lasting tight head, sweet, light coffee and burnt bitter notes, a little cocoa, watery.

The smell of roasted malt and chocolate, a little bit bitter. The head is large, beige and milky-creamy with a long duration. The body is black. The taste is malty, roasted malt, quite bitter finish. The body is light to medium strong, very creamy with a soft carbonation.

Pours deep brown colour. Creamy beige head as known by the style. The aroma is bready with notes of coffey & caramel. Oily palate but light body. Low carbonation. Tastes pretty bitter with a hint of sweetness. Hoppy finish. Not bad. I’d rather prefer the Guinness rival because of the palate intensity.

On tap, from cloudy beige color to deep brown, almost black, aroma with roasted notes, in mouth is coffee and fine hoppy but not excessive bitter, coffee in aftertaste... drinkable, very low carbonation

From the widget can. Pours a dark black. Fairly simple and easy to drink. A touch of roast and cocoa but not a melange of flavors. Solid.
