Black with creamy head. Roasted coffee and chocolate. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Very Guinness-like, but lighter and less bitter. Still enjoyable.

Pint in irish pub met nikos. Mooie stout met een zijdezachte volle schuimkraag. Iets gebrander dan Guinness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
on tap. The beer starts (quite cold) a bit watery, malty roasted. in the mainpart nice malty, smooth, slightly bitter. The aftertaste is medium long, highly drinkable and slightly malty-roasty.
--> nice session-stout. If it gets a bit warmer, some roasted chocolate-espresso aroma appear, that are quite nice.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pitch Black Color, Medium Foamy Head, Decent Lacing. Guinness Like Aroma of Roasted Barley. Roasted Barley, Malt, Light Bitter. Very Mellow and inoffensive. Watery thin. One Main difference from Guinness, that it is a little more creamier. While I was slightly tired of Guinness, Iíve welcomed change and enjoyed it, although it is not that different from its competition. While I liked it, Iíve showed it to my Irish friend and he almost immediately got defensive almost to being offended. He did not want to hear anything about it, saying it does not compare to the real thing - Guinness... I beg to differ... You could try it for Yourself. Worth A Try...

Keg whist on a lovely Irish holiday in October 2013. Lively and pretty gassy. Not a lot of flavour but the pub I tried it in was fantastic. Thatís all there is to say.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance with black color and medium and persistent head.
Medium aroma of roasted malt (coffee, chocolate, etc.).
On the palate, also prevails roasted malt placed smoothly and refreshing.
Compared to Guinness Draught this stout has a malt stronger and more bitter taste.
A good choice!

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma: Some light roast character with a touch of chocolate and oats; there is a lingering veggie note that is rather unpleasant. Appearance: Solid, oily black with a sustained tan head. Flavor: Shockingly light overall; a little bit of roast and chocolate up front with a little more roast toward the finish. Very dry throughout. Palate: Light body, oily texture, flat carbonation, astringent finish. Overall: Iíd rather have a Guinness (at least it would be somewhat fresh). May have purchased an old can, unfortunately.
