Excellent close-foam head, very thick and creamy. Mouthfeel however, is very thin. Slight coffee and toffee aroma. Not quite as bitter as others---very drinkable and enjoyable. Not as good as Russian Stouts, but still, very nice.

Mieux que la guinness... Mais il y avait de la marge. Très aqueuse, aucune longueur. Très douce, on perçoit un côté café lacté. Puis aucune longueur, tout s’évapore.

500ml can from Tesco. Pours opaque brown with a one inch beige-marshmallow looking head. Aromas of... Not very much! Faint coffee maybe. Taste has a bit more going on, all in the coffee end of things. Then it all goes a bit metallic and watery. Thin finish.

Canned, 500 ml. Black colour, medium sized creamy beige head, which remains finger thick. Nose of coffee, caramel... Aromas brings coffee, caramel and chocolate, mouthfeel is slick, somewhat thin, which make it easy drinkable. Tannic, earthy, dry, bittersweet finish.

Palate: toasted malts, creamy feel, cacao, light coffee, soft carbonation. Overall: decent Dry Stout, quaffable, yet nothing extraordinary. Pint at Sea Shell of Lisson Grove, Marylebone.
