Had this one at Lord Mike’s Pub in Amsterdam a few times. This really took me back as the first stout that really made me say “wow” that’s good beer. Since then I’ve had it a few times on draft and from widget cans. It is a smooth great dry stout. Pours very dark brown almost black with a lasting creamy tan lacy, thick head. Smells of dark and roasted malt, coffee and chocolate with some smoky elements. Eventually bits of dark berry comes out as it warms. Medium watery body that goes down very well. Very smooth but a little watery. It has elements of dark malt like a Mild and rather thin for a stout. Sweet with a bitter roast bitter finish. The roast is light with chocolate and coffee. Super drinkable and smooth.

Irish Pub Poznan, tap. Color is black. Medium foam, but extremely creamy. Aroma isn’t very intensive, a little bit of coffee and chocolate. More chocolate in taste, but a little bit watery.

500 ml can with widget @ 4% - UK. Dry roasted malt taste although it is badly let down by the mouth feel. This very watery stout seems to suggest that more sugar than malt might have been used in the brewing process. The poor head retention (even with a widget) seems to confirm this.

Drank a few on holiday in ROI. Ubiquitous stout, creamy mouthfeel. Should be familiar to all.

Brewed with more coffe malts than "the mother" of all Irish stout this beer has a more micro brewed flavor. The nitrogen generated head color and aroma are great and makes this beer a more than acceptable option to other Irish stouts on the market.

Not offering much for senses, but very session and drinkable beer. Well , not much stouty, rather watery.
