Typical nitrogenized stout, with initial sandy looking cascades. Otherwise it’s black, and the one finger head is permanent. Roasted toffee and nut aroma. Basic dark malty taste, mainly coffee notes. Unfortunately overly light and watery, and not very dry. Preferable to the ’other’ Irish stout for flavor, thought not body.

Strasznie wodnisty, wydaje się gorszy od Guinessa. Jakaś tam paloność w smaku jest i prawie nic poza tym.

50cl can. Various brews over the last several years. Pours clear black with thick soft creamy head that stays. Head retention is on of the best. Iron and burnt malt in taste. Reminds of a creamy bitters. Slightly sour and acidic. I do not mind that. A good drink when served around 8degC. Medium bodied and smooth. Reminds of John Smiths.
