I enjoyed this beer a lot. It pours a dark color similar to Guinness. The taste is smooth and not overpowering. The aftertaste was subtle as well. There could have been a little stronger taste but what was there was good.

Helt blød i smagen som en guiness. Men ellers let lakrids og ristene malte. Klassiske.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. I needed something for St. Patrick’s Day.
A: Dark mahogany with a pillowy creme color head.
N: Chocolate, coffee, minerality, bit of a lactose, roast, toast, and iron.
T: Sweet and bitter/roasty.
M: Medium light body, very creamy carbonation, no alcohol.
O: Just a nice dry Irish stout. Similar to Sam Smith’s, albeit without the body that oats can provide, and it exists for days when you don’t need a 10% ABV bomb.

Aroma has roasted malt with caramel; near black with a dense light beige head that’s lasting; the flavor has a lot of caramel, roasted malt, hint of cocoa, dry finish; light-medium body, very smooth and creamy, light on the tongue; I’ve always enjoyed this more than Guinness Draught and am happy to see it back in Ohio, quintessential Dry Irish Stout.
