Murray’s Angry Man Pale Ale is a classic US pale ale. Australian, English and German malts balance the huge citrus/pine hop aroma and flavour strongly influenced by generous use of US Centennial and New Zealand Motueka and Pacifica hops. A brilliant light-golden colour, Murray’s Angry Man Pale Ale has a full-bodied finish and complex character. This is well balanced with biscuity/toffee flavours from selected caramalts.

Nuts, spruce, grass, some citrus aromas. Maybe some cheese. Nice cloudy pale gold with good carbonation. Mild bitterness and umami. Seems like an undecided beer, without a prevailing flavour or a balance of several flavours.

A pleasant beer with easy drinking subtle flavours and with some bitterness. From a bottle. Well worth drinking on a warm day.

Varsin hiilihappoinen, kohtalaisen kevyt suutuntuma. Ihan ok, mutta ei mestariteos.

On tap at Murray’s, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is a bit metallic, with biscuity malt and citrusy piney hops. Flavour is stale tasting, with a cardboard-like biscuity malt and light hoppy astringency. Not a fan of this one - too stale and astringent.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and slightly piney and grassy, hoppy aroma, biscuity malty background, hints of lemon drops, candied lemon zest. Taste is moderately sweet, biscuity malty, hints of caramel and toffee, all interspersed with citrusy and piney hoppy flavours, notes of lemon, lemon drops, a touch of peanut. Relatively complex on the malty side for an APA.

A fair dinkum top shelf Aussie pale ale. Low bitterness with caramel notes. The finest pale ale I have tried. Drinking it off tap was a spiritual experience. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clean golden color, no head. Aroma is quite nice, hoppy, pine, exotic fruits, yellow fruits, raisin and caramel. Flavour of exotic fruits and caramel. Short bitter finish, ends dry. Medium-full body, medium carbo. Good nose but lacks flavours intensity.
