3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very pleasant, easy to drink. Grassy bitter, it could be a bit fruitier with the NZ hops, but still one of the best Aussie pale ales.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
330 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Looks: Cloudy hazy golden amber colour with traces of dirt like yeast sediments. One finger head and white foam which last for 2 minutes. Very good sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant nose of sweet ale malt, with fresh grapefruit, orange blossoms, molasses, canned peaches, pine cone, hint of chocolate, and faint grass.
Taste: Light sweet and refreshing ale malt, with pomelo, grapefruit, light peaches, pine, yeast, strong lime and strong grass.
Body: Medium, with thick and oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: dominated by refreshing pomelo - more so than the usual grapefruit - in a thick oozy rasiny background. I’m in a treat! Complemented with piney, slightly yeasty and good lime. Very enjoyable!
Hoppiness: refreshing citrus, grapefruits, orange blossoms, and pine cones in nose and taste, and a moderate to low touch of bitterness for a low-key finish.
After Taste: Slightly dry, very easy and fruity to mouth.
Comments:This is one very enjoyable APA, its genius use of the fruity Motueka and Pacifica hops brings a refreshing, piney, fruity and oozy nose and taste to a wholesome body. Drinking this is a pure joy. Highly recommended, of course!

Not a bad head and a full flavoured beer. Strong tastes of wet dog but a well balanced pale ale with enough after taste to make me want another sip. Not bad but not great.

330ml bottle. Hazy orange amber colour, creamy foam off-white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt caramel, mango & orange citrus. 3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a nice golden color, with lots of bubbles and a one finger white head that fades quickly. Aroma is great! Bright citrus, peach, a bit of grass, a touch of malt sweetness and just a hint of spicyness. Taste is lightly bitter on the attack, some sweet malts, a spicy character and a bit of melon on the mid palate, and then a really complex finish. The finish has a definite grapefruit bitterness, which is followed by some lovely biscuity notes, and then changes again back to a more resinous bitterness. A really excellent pale ale with great complexity.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a Hazy, Dirty-Gold colour.
Aroma. can smell tropical fruits, though its a very weak aroma.
Strait away i taste a smooth biscuity caramel flavour, followed by a nice grapefruit bitterness, with also some tropical fruit flavours in there.
Overall. Smooth and easy drinking from start to finish with plenty of flavour to still appreciate.
