COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made in traditional Brown Porter style from selected roasted malts dark ale is full bodied, rich and complex. Pouring with a deep ruby colour and creamy off-white coloured head, an aroma of caramel and bittersweet chocolate, which follows through in the flavour with a balanced bitterness.

Dark with murky foam. Aroma is very basic - like fresh brewery wort - seaweed, vegetable extract, light soy sauce. Taste is the same but majoring on the seaweed aspect. Remember when this was my go to beer but my palate is definitely different now!

Bottle. Black with blush of ruby. Rich chocolate malt, biscuit abc caramel aromas. Disappointing lack of flavour in the front and mid palates. Pleasant bitterness towards end. Very average from murrays who are usually great.

Pours a muddy dark brown with nearly no head. Nice roast malt aroma with chocolate, and a bit of caramel. Thin, harshly bitter body. Flavor is cocoa, medium caramel malt, a bit of roasted malt, the faintest amount of coffee. This one was disappointing. Has a pretty decent aroma but the flavor doesít match up. Itís a fairly ugly looking beer and the body does not help the brew. It isnít bad but itís not something I would get again.

Iím surprised at the reviews, I donít get much from this beer. Itís described as ífull bodiedí and írichí, itís quite watery. They say ídeep ruby colourí, I see no ruby, itís Coke in colour, and a ícreamyí head, no it was thin, fizzy and gone quickly. I donít get much from the aroma at all, mild caramel, the taste is also weak but definitely not unpleasant, short finish and not very bitter.

on tap at the brewery in bobís farm. dark brown with a thin head; quite a sweet, nutty aroma; simple and steady porter with notes of cocoa powder, vanilla and a modestly bitter finish. just lacking a bit of spark

On tap. Deep, dark brown, almost black with a small tan head. Strong coffee and dark chocolate aroma with notes of raisins and burnt toffee. Bitter coffee flavour with slightly bitter smokey notes. Body is light, too thin for a porter in my opinion. Good bitter dry flavours though

Una porter un poí nella media, ma comunque gustosa, con note di cioccolato e tostate ben equilibrate con una sfumatura leggermente amara.
