Murray’s Whale Ale is a refreshing wheat beer with a twist. Its high percentage of malted and unmalted wheat and aromatic late hop profile gives a unique take on a session strength ale. A classic light body, creamy mouthfeel and refreshing citris flavour. This is balanced with assertive late hopping, giving a fresh, light tropical fruit aroma and cleansing dry finish.

Murray’s Whale Ale is light gold in colour and lightly filtered to give it a sparkling appearance.

on tap at bob’s farm. american style wheat - pale golden with a thin head; no discernible yeast character and no wheat malt presence to stand up to the tinned fruit hop character. not much of a beer but i do like my whale ale t-shirt

330ml bottle. Low level white head which is unusual for the style. Golden amber in colour with gentle bubblegum aromas and a crisp light dry flavour and a slight aftertaste. Average without being great.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a hazy yellow with a frothy, white head. Sweet wheaty aroma. Nothing special. Slightly citric. Not much there. Just an average, easy drinking wit. Would rather white rabbit white ale any day

Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow/ orange with a decent white head. Aroma has lemon and white pepper. Crisp, light and refreshing with a spicy dry finish. A little wheaty sourness and some nectarine sweetness, but it’s really the citrus and spice that dominates. Fine dust-cutter.
