On tap at Murray’s Brewery. Pours very pale champagne colour, tiny white head, well carbonated, not overly hoppy. A good sessionable wheat beer.

Bottle. Handsome blonde. Some dusty hops, sweet fruit and caramel nose. Way too gassy. Caramel was nice, but the body was so uneven and overdone it was hard to tell. Pretty disappointing.

on tap at bob’s farm. american style wheat - pale golden with a thin head; no discernible yeast character and no wheat malt presence to stand up to the tinned fruit hop character. not much of a beer but i do like my whale ale t-shirt

330ml Bottle. A yellow coloured, slightly hazy beer, with a white head. Aromas of banana, wheat, and light aromas of citrus with hints of a doughy yeast. Taste is sweet and wheaty with hints of banana. Very light body. Slightly unpleasent sour notes with the finish that detract from other flavours. Otherwise a clean, sessionable beer.

Pleasant summer drink - not especially wheaty - more lagery - goes down easy.

A cracking summer ale with a lovely hoppy, fruity aroma and a pleasant tang on the tongue. Could drink it all night.

Salty and yeasty aroma. In theme with the port stepehns tribute. Very bitey taste, hint of chili or ginger spiciness. I actually like how well the beer’s taste compliments the idea behind it. That being said its not sessionable for me out of the bottle, maybe on tap would prove less intense.

Pours golden in color but smells of Vegemite/marmite like some darker beers. Hints of Vegemite & grapefruit in the taste too but tastes somewhat watered down. I can see that this is meant to be a session beer and wouldn't be a bad choice for this option. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
