Hazy ambe. Small, tan head.
Light toffee and maltiness.
Too much alcoholic notes. A lot of carbonation. FatPhil (2408), Espoo, Finland Sep 18, 2008 Bottle (EBF2008)
Huge East Kent Goldings aroma. Lively carbonation. Dry woody oak taste. A little sweet. Great ESB hop profile. We asked the brewer and he said there was EKG, Challenger, and some Fuggles too - great! gnoff (2923), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 17, 2008 At EBF 2008, on Saturday September 13
Shady copper color, tan head. Sweet caramel scent, some hops. Hoppy and sweet taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. chriso (4420), London, Greater London, England May 26, 2008 Bottle at Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006. Copper colour with a slight haze. Clean, spicy hops dominate. There is a hint of grapefruit that one wouldn’t necessarily expect in an ESB. Robust underpinning malt. Decent but rather less forthcoming than the Swing tasted just before.
