A hazy orange-brown beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet spicy with cloves being most dominant. The flavor is sweet spicy again with cloves being most dominant, but also with notes of nuts, and with a bitter slightly hoppy dry end.

Pours hazy amberorange and a small tan head. Dominating clove aroma, tones of brown cookies. Quite full and very christmas. Clove in the flavor as well, notes of malt and some hop. Dry and sharp in the mouth and a bit thin in the body. An interesting and pretty tasty christmas brew.

Bottled. Red brown coloured with a small off white head. Aroma of fruits and spices with notes of dried fruits. Flavour of spices, dried fruits, yeast and fruits.

Bottled. Red appearance, no head. A lot of cinnamon and ginger in the aroma. However the beer is too thin and that’s a shame. Could be a good beer if given a bit more power.

Hildigöltur (5106) - København, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2005
Bottled. Hazy brown coloured. Big Angostura aroma with pleasant notes of banana, orange and some ether (Von Oosten). Spicy cinnamon and orange flavour with a slightly sharp clovy finish. Not as cloyingly sweet as most Belgian style Christmas brews. A truly excellent Christmas brew from this very promising brewery.
