Bottled. A pictch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet chocolaty combined with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of chocolate, as well as a slight acidity from the har d roasted malt, the end is bitter more from the roasted malt than hops. The body is thin considering the 6.1% ABV.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours opaque and almost black with a dense, creamy, beige head. Lightly burned malt aroma. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel. The chocolate gives an underlying smoothness and sweetness, but otherwise it’s the lightly burned malt, that seems to dominate. Very subdued bitterness. 170207

Bottle. Dark brown coloured with a beige head. Light roasted aroma of chocolate and cocoa. LIght roasted flavour of chocolate and cocoa with notes of dried fruits. One dimensional.

It’s a black beer with a light brow, creamy head. the aroma has clear, but light, notes of chocolate, and I’m a bit disappointed. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, light sweetness and a nice bitterness with burnt notes of coffee in the finish. It’s OK, but I had hoped for an ultimate beer for chocolate lovers, but actually the overall impression is quite light. 2238

Bottle. A almost black beer with a big beige head. The aroma is mainly of chocolate with some coffee, the taste is also chocolate but with some vanilla and a hint of coffee, a bit thin with a sweet finish.

Botella. BB 08.08.08. Pours pitch black with a nice big well lasting light brown head. The aroma is bustling with dark chocolate and coffee along with softly roasted malt and and a soft pleasant sweetness. Great mouthfeel. The flavour has a mild sweetness with lots of dark chocolate, cocoa, roasty coffee and malt along with some dark fruits. Long lasting choco mildly roasty malty finish. Yum!

Bottle. Dark mahogany brown with a thin beige film head. Heavy dark chocolate aroma. Slightly high carbonated. Flavour has roasted, chocolate and a little coffee. Quite sweet with a long aftertaste, with a clingy bitterness to it. Nice!

Reddish, brown colour with a fast disappearing tan head. Light roasted, coffee bitter aroma with chocolate sweet notes. Coffee bitter and cocoa sweet flavor. Sweet and vague fruity finish.
