The aroma is sweet chocolaty combined with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of chocolate, as well as a slight acidity from the har d roasted malt, the end is bitter more from the roasted malt than hops. The body is thin considering the 6.1% ABV. Papsoe (14904), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours opaque and almost black with a dense, creamy, beige head. Lightly burned malt aroma. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel. The chocolate gives an underlying smoothness and sweetness, but otherwise it’s the lightly burned malt, that seems to dominate. Very subdued bitterness. 170207 joergen (8539), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2007 It’s a black beer with a light brow, creamy head. the aroma has clear, but light, notes of chocolate, and I’m a bit disappointed. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, light sweetness and a nice bitterness with burnt notes of coffee in the finish. It’s OK, but I had hoped for an ultimate beer for chocolate lovers, but actually the overall impression is quite light. 2238
