UPDATED: JUN 27, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Dark brown, brief head. Caramelly nose. Sweet and syrupy with raw, mellow mouthfeel . The malt is sticky and undeveloped. Finishes resiny. Sub-par imperial stout.

Bottle. Huge creamy brown head that mostly diminished. Good lacing. Black color. Vinous berry notes with some chocolate, coffee, roasted, dry fruit. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation and light alcoholic texture that warms on the way down. Moderated sweet malty flavor with light burned bitterness. Lingering liquorish bitter finish.

Very dark brown color, almost opague. Yeasty, roasted aroma with nutmeg and a hint of chocolate. Malty dark chocolate cake flavor with nutmeg and a hint of rubber. Drinks away fairly easy for an imperial stout.

Tap. Pours pitch black with a fine creamy brownish head. Aroma is roasted and chocolate sweet. Initially quite sweet and spicy. Then an assault of flowery hops and and plenty of yeast. Flavour has a rubber feel as well - not unpleasant.
