(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Pitch black coloured hue with a brown foamy head of medium size. Slightly dusty roast-malty aroma with caramel, cacao and a slightly flowery hoppy note. Roasty malty taste with caramel, liquorice and light burnt notes; spicy and slightly citric hops in the background; lasting bitter-sweet finish. Pleasant. 31.XII.07

Backlogging: Black with a dense brown head. Roasted aroma: coffee and dark bitter chocolate. The flavour is sweet, prune-like with coffee dominating. The alchol shines through, making it way too heavy.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 1, 2009
Bottle It pours a clear, dark reddish brown body under a beige head. Coffeeish, sweetish aroma with chocolate and some alcohol. The flavor is much the same, but more pronounced on the sweet side. Coffee-bitter finish and medium to full body. A quite nice beer, but it is too one-dimentional, and lacks on the hoppy flavors and aromas. Wouldn’t refuse to drink it again though. (081031)
