pivnizub (3638), Porúří, Germany May 17, 2008 Bottle: Thick sweet pale malty nose with a distinctive hoppy background, a bit alcoholic; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; longer lasting sweet fruity, but also hoppy finish with not too well hidden traces of alcohol. A well balanced, heavy brew.........
Borup (978), Albertslund, Denmark Jun 22, 2008 Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, fruit, spice and yeast. chris_o (4393), London, Greater London, England May 26, 2008 Bottle at Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006. Gold colour. Some haze. Quite a deal of estery/yeasty fruit. Orange peel and spice (coriander?) come through more strongly in the flavour. Quite full mouthfeel. Some residual sweetness but not too sticky. A well made take on the tripel style. Not quite 100% authentic maybe but very tasty.
