thegreenrooster (1578), St.louis, Missouri, USA Aug 11, 2008 Pour was a dirty blonde with a large white head. Aroma was nice a fruity with some vanilla and yeast. Flavoir was also above par with a touch of pepper and citrus fruit along with some corriander and spice. Nice example of the style. prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Jul 8, 2008 Beerfest in Chilton. Fruit aroma, sweet and hops, honey color. Nice start. islay (409), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Apr 6, 2008 Small pour (approximately 3 oz.), on tap at Gitchee Gumee Brewfest in Superior, WI on 4-5-08. This was the fifth of 12 beers that I rated (out of about 20 total beers that I tried). It was listed as simply "Muskie Capital Saison" at the festival. This was my favorite beer of the Brewfest. Pours a clear, dark brass / medium brown, quite dark for a saison. Small amount of beige head. Very nice, Belgian-style, sweet aroma with some dusty dryness. The taste has a very sweet start with a lightly dry finish. Medium body. Crisp, smooth, and lively in the palate. I was highly impressed by this offering and will seek out Muskie Capital if I am ever in its area. badgerben (3234), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Mar 13, 2008 A growler courtesy of Skyview. Excellent. beoir (51), st paul, Minnesota, USA Mar 12, 2008 Musky grapes and banana aroma. rich caramel color. malty sweet light and crisp. nice carbonation for a thirst quenching beer.
