Sampled draught at the Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis, October 7 2006. Not as impressed with this one as JK was though it’s competently put together....dull, dirty amber in complexion with little head....fairly weak and typical PNW hoppy nose, stronger on the twiggy-bark notes than citrus, touch of caramel malt....body is much more caramelly-sweet, just lightly bitter, clean enough but for me terribly boring and by-the-numbers. Their saison was much better.

ABR 2006. This is a solid ipa, very drinkable if not outstanding. The aroma is herbal hops and promises a bitter flavor. The flavor is more hops, bitter, some flowery and a little spicy. Dark orange. Good effort.
