Draught at C’est What Fall Festival of Small Breweries, Sept. 14. Pours a slightly hazy, very bubbly, orange with an average size lasting creamy off-white head. Nice, big hoppy aroma (7+), resiny and citrusy, along with some fruit and light herbs. Lovely fruity hoppy flavour, again citrusy and resiny, along with a hint of herbs. Alcohol is only slightly present, it’s fairly well hidden. Medium bodied. Great stuff, I’m imprerssed. Please put this in bottles.

Cask. (Rating #4573)

On tap at BarHop. Hazy gold pour, small white head. Solid nose of lemon, orange and a little grapefruit. The hops do fad as it warms. Turns sweeter, and the malts come through. Cereals and pine are what is left near the end. High bitterness and resin finish.

good dipa but could use some work, slightly astringent alcohol and lacking much nose.

Smells very fruity - apples and pears with tangerine. A whole fruit punch in this scent. Pours clear orange with wonderful carpet lacing. Lots of florals in the aroma. Taste is pretty hoppy-bitter with a little boozy sweetness. This is a great beer - if only they bottled this as the Twice as Mad Tom. Tap at Bar Hop.

Bottle courtesy of Jon. Golden with thick lace, very lacey. Very hoppy aroma. The hops have faded a bit, so it comes across as a strong ale. Good hop delivery, which was orange-biased. Bitter and sippable yet tasty and drinkable. The sediment was the best part.

Courtesy of Samy. 12 oz bottle. Very clear light amber, slight foamy head. Extreme aroma of hops, though not as pronounced in the flavour - somewhat faded. Flavour balanced

On draught at Bar Hop. Hazy copper-amber with a solid frothy off-white head. A bit barley wine-ish; sweet heavy malt, floral bitterness, boozy. Taste - very much Mad Tom with more alcohol and a tad sweeter. Average body, good carbonation, nice long floral bitter finish. More aroma hopping and less sweetness and huh-hay! - looking forward to Double Mad Tom!!!
