COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the region it’s from, our all-malt Muskoka Craft Lager is a getaway from the average. That’s because it’s carefully aged and handcrafted to be uniquely flavourful, yet remarkably easy-drinking. Made from North American hops and malt, and winner of Canadian Lager of the Year, this delicately balanced thirst quencher is the refreshing departure you’ve been waiting for

I tried this beer on April 22, 2010 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent pale golden colour with a 1/2" white head that disappeared quickly. The aroma was grainy malt, weak hops, and acidic tones. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt and wet metal. Not a great beer.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2010 473ml can from the LCBO. Pours a dark yellow, with no head. A little malt in the aroma, but not much else. A bit bland and a touch on the sweet side, but a drinkable lager.

Can from LCBO. A serviceable lager, more for a warm day. Light yellow with a large dissapearing white head. Neutral aroma. A tad below average mouthfeel. A mild bitterness, just keeping the sweetness at bay. Decent balanced for a minimal use of ingredients. Drying finish.

355 mL Can. Light gold body with a foamy-bubbly white head that settles to a ring leaving lots of spotty lace. Aroma of grains, yeast, hay, a hint of honey, and floral notes. Flavor light sweet malt with a subtle accent of honey, very mild aftertaste, and a nice clean finish. A light-bodied beer, this is one of the better summer beers I’ve come across. Brownie points for it being all-malt as said on the label.

355 ml can, Toronto, ON, Canada. Medium golden colour, smooth creamy head. Very mild hop aroma. Slightly skunky first sip with a sweetness that lingers. Easy drinking but not that interesting.

smells corny, colour is hay, tastes corny, a tiny bit of hops, balanced bitterness. um whats so special about this? its a microbrew but tastes barely a stepup from any buck a beer.

Can from matt7215. Thanks for another uncommon beer! Pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is bready with some grassy notes. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is bready with some citrus and grass. Finish is lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Leaves the mouth quite clean. Drinks very well.

6 X 355 ml cans. Lawnmower lager that doesn’t disappoint! Very clear light gold with nice lacy ’real looking’ white foam. Smells bready sweet and clean with notes of lemon and hay. Taste a surprisingly symphonic charge of sweet malts and fruit , vanilla, grape, lemon, and gentle bohemian-style hopping that rounds out an edge of dryness over a sweet and clean finish. The feel of the beer is excellent and I suggest drinking it lightly cooled to demonstrate that this very inexpensive lager has no defects and is not in any way metallic.
