COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the region itís from, our all-malt Muskoka Craft Lager is a getaway from the average. Thatís because itís carefully aged and handcrafted to be uniquely flavourful, yet remarkably easy-drinking. Made from North American hops and malt, and winner of Canadian Lager of the Year, this delicately balanced thirst quencher is the refreshing departure youíve been waiting for

Very fresh-tasting. Good bready malt and pleasing hop note. Iím not a huge fan of ípremium lagersí but this is an acceptable example.

Can from matt7215. Thanks for another uncommon beer! Pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is bready with some grassy notes. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is bready with some citrus and grass. Finish is lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Leaves the mouth quite clean. Drinks very well.

Light golden lager with collapsing white head. Grassy aroma with chalky perfumy notes. Crisp malts with sweet finish, and german styles hops in mid mouth. Again, chalky mouthfeel.

Can from LCBO. A serviceable lager, more for a warm day. Light yellow with a large dissapearing white head. Neutral aroma. A tad below average mouthfeel. A mild bitterness, just keeping the sweetness at bay. Decent balanced for a minimal use of ingredients. Drying finish.

Pale golden pour. The aroma is lightly sweet and grainy. A hint of odd sweetness as it warms up. Some definite DMS. In spite of the flaws, it still seems drinkable enough.

Some grassy hop bitterness…Some caramel in the malt…Nowhere near Anchor’s…

TFOB. Pale orange, slight hops aroma with a nice bitterness. Some interesting undercurrents of flavour. Booth guy said this was formerly the steam?

Can, brought to me by my buddy Robbie. Pours a deep golden with a huge bubbly head that shows surprising retention. Sweet grainy aroma. Clean grainy palate with just the right sweetness, and a nice leafy hop kiss in the finish. Nice smooth mouthfeel too. I havenít had many lagers in the past year or so, and the last couple Iíve tried have sat really well with me. Iíd keep this on hand for my non-adventursome beer buddies.

Appearance: good looking dark golden lager , crystal clear. Mid plus white top with good lace in present. 4-
Nose: sweet malts with grainy character, nothing out of ordinary.5+
Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied. Mid high carbonation with smooth clean body. Drinkable with approachable malt at finish. Light grassy hop paired. Slightly chewy finish. Drinkable lighter bodied yet well brewed lager.

Bottle (341ml). Via trade with matt7215. Clear light gold, huge diminishing frothy white head - nice lacing. The aroma is not bad - a hint of pvc up front, but plenty of real cereal grain malt and - gasp! - actual light weedy hops. The taste is pretty run-of-the-mill - follows the aroma, but does seem a tad harsh - clean, but harsh. Slightly weak body, a bit chewy, mild carbonation, and a slightly bitter aftertaste - the finish is fairly quick. Decent deck beer if youíre sitting in a .... muskoka chair.
