COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the region it’s from, our all-malt Muskoka Craft Lager is a getaway from the average. That’s because it’s carefully aged and handcrafted to be uniquely flavourful, yet remarkably easy-drinking. Made from North American hops and malt, and winner of Canadian Lager of the Year, this delicately balanced thirst quencher is the refreshing departure you’ve been waiting for

50ml can thanks to bobsy.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow. Small head that is short lived. No lacing.
Aroma : Veggies, citrusy hops, lots of malt.
Taste : Lots of malt. Light hops. Finish very malty with light hops.
Overall : Highly drinkable and refreshing. Nice malty finish but still not that good.

500mL can from LCBO taster pack. Nothing exciting. Aroma is borderline gross, very tinny and heavy on the corn, bland malt. Pale yellow pour, bubbly white foam. No highlights, just another lager in a sea of mediocrity.

Bottle- Thanks D for the bottle- Pours into the glass, a pale golden body with a spritzy white fizz that dies quick. Minute lace is also here. Aroma is mainly sweet grains, with no real hops presence. Grass/hay are also present. Not too descript, but no offense taken. Flavours are sweet grassy grain, with a touch of suragy malt and corn water. Ok flavour. FInishes with no real attitude, and little quality, but does not upset to score under 3 for palate. Just ok.

Clear orange yellow, small foamy white head fades. Sweet malty grainy aroma. Crisp clean lager malt taste, some fint hop grassiness and a hint of citrus. Average carbonation, light bodied, lightly hopped. Refreshing and easy to drink. Decent lager. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

At the stone lion in Toronto. Smells like a lager. The taste is fresh, even with some banana. Not a good lager.

Cannette 473 ml. 4.8%. Couleur jaune or avec une mousse blanche. Arôke de malt et de maïs. Goût très doux avec une bonne effervescence, légèrement sucré. Notes de céréales. Finale de houblon très légère. Froide quand il fait chaud, elle est très bonne.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2008 Bottle fresh from the brewery. Pour puts a clear deep golden lager in the glass with a decent 2 finger frothy white cap, Bready malts and woody Nobel hops in the aroma...light whiff of sulphery lager yeast. Sturdy malt spine, firm body, bready-woody character. Nice chew of fresh bready malts in the front..nobels show to balance, decent middle with some sweetness, citrus, herbals tones tapering out to the thick finish which is slightly malt accented. Fresh and bready tasting with just enough hopping to keep the sweetness at bay...the quintessential crafted all-malt lager..a deal at less than a buck a bottle and when fresh.
