2.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Canmoore (67) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 3, 2013
Pours a clear copper, with very little head even after a vigorous pour. The aroma is very faint with hints of caramel, toffee, and light malts. Tasting notes include a distinct creamy mouth feel, grains, caramel, crackers, faint hop notes. Unremarkable, but not terrible. This is a great unoffensive summer patio, or campfire beer!

473ml can. Pours a copper-red colour with an off-white head which sticks around for a while. Smells bittersweet, with citrus and malt, and some candy-like aromas. Tastes sweet. A great beer, would recommend for sure.

The first thing that got my attention was its honey brown color. Then this gorgeous tall head and brilliant caramel smell hit me.
The head disappeared quicker than i would’ve liked, but the caramel flavour stuck with me the entire way through, aftertaste and all.
Could not get over its hazy honey color. Looks like i’m sipping on pure honey.
However, I am not entirely sure why Muskoka insists on having these floral flavors. Every beer i’ve had made by them has reminded me of perfume to some degree. I’m not saying their beer is bad just that they need to take it down a notch with the flowers.
Right now i’m enjoying the canned version of this beer and it lacks the carbonation i’m sure the true version has.
Overall its a pretty good cream ale, but I would rate quidi vidi’s cream ale way above it simply because a cream ale should not taste fruity in my opinion.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Hungarian_G (80) - - FEB 9, 2013
Clear amber pour with thin white head; about 1 finger. Little lacing. Aroma of herbs, dried fruit (raisins mostly), grass and caramel. Flavour is a decent balance of malty sweetness and herbal, grassy hops; again, some dried fruit. Finish has decent notes of raisins and apricots with a mild bitter end. Some alcohol astringency.

Pours a clear golden colour with a slight white head. Aromas of biscuity sweet malts, slight herbal notes and some hop bitter. Solid session beer.

16 ounce can. Pours a deep reddish copper color with a medium white head, doesn’t look like a cream ale! A light nose of fruit and dusty malts. The flavor is a clean tasty mix of caramel, light toasted malts, some strawberry. Good. Very drinkable.

Clear medium copper, foamy off white head settles and lasts. Sweet floral fruity aroma. Sweet malts dominate, caramel, s’light bitterness as it warms. Softly carbed, light bodied, lightly hopped. Decent. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)
