Bottle from an OCB mix-6 pack! Pours a nice dark gold, a bit of head, but not too substantial in that dept...grassy hop aromas come through strong, and pay off in the taste. With all that colour and hoppiness, this beer is still a bit watery. I’m not a big cream ale fan, but there is a nice Ontario craft taste to this that reminds me of the days Creemore used good malts.

Dec 25, 2009 Poured from can. Copper orange colour with small frothy head that disappeared quickly. Medium body, Nice malty flavour that was well balanced. Very good overall.

Dec 11, 2009 473 ml can from OCB Pack. Pours a clear orange gold with small white head. Sweet bready nose with light honey. Taste is quite sweet, again bread with more prominent honey. Body is fairly creamy with relatively lively, fine carbonation. Ok.

Dec 3, 2009 473ml can. Amber in colour. Decent sized off-white head that diminished slightly. Malty aroma. Faint floral scent to the hops. A little caramel, honey. As for taste, malt and honey. Sweeter than expected, but nicely balanced. Medium bodied. A little citrus pith in the finish with the hops. Very British in style. Enjoyable.

Nov 18, 2009 can. Poured clear orange-brown with a good off-white head. Orange and light hop aroma. Medium creamy body, lower carbonation. Sweet toasty malt flavour with a light grapefruity hop finish.

Oct 5, 2009 473ml can, amber-gold color, with a small white head, light toasty, biscuity, pale malt nose with a faint fuity yeastiness, and a mild floral hop citrusy note in trhe aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp yeasty, fruity, honeyed toasted, pale, grainy malt character with a mild flowery hop grassy accent, and a hint of bready dough, leading towards a faint grainy malty, lingering hop citrusy bittering finish.

Sep 15, 2009 smells malty, like peanuts. its pinkish dark amber with a lace around it, tastes a little adjuncty right away, kind of nutty, fairly sweet, full of almost fruit flavours, sugar taste. smooth and moderate bodied, this is pretty interesting even though its kind of strange and awkward, also not sure if this really qualifies as a true cream ale.

Sep 12, 2009 Nice redish pour with a clingy lacy head. Scent of grass and hops with a slight bit of yeast. A nutty mouth with a bitter finish. A good cream ale I would think but not a favorite style of mine.
