medium head amber color, citrus, pine, grapefruit , abrupt bitter trails off lingering bitter finish. This is quite good.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2015 Ahhhh. Free beer at my brother’s house. Slightly cloudy golden. Little white head. Pine, mild citrus and resin hops, with a little hay malts nose. Taste cream and hay malts. Citrus, mild pine and with a bitter finish. Solid beer.

Pours slightly hazy pale gold with one finger of white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, moderate patchy lacing. (4/5) Nose is light citrus, pine resin, pale malt. (8/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderate bitter. (8/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, dry crisp finish. (4/5) They call this a “sessionable IPA” but I’m not sure you couldn’t just as easily call it an APA. Regardless, it’s bright, easy drinking, crisp, and clean, no matter what you call it. Nothing challenging, but certainly more-ish. Yes, I’m aware I’m ranking this equally with Mad Tom and Twice as Mad Tom, but for different reasons - think equally well-done variations on slightly different themes. If anything, this might be just marginally preferable to its beefier brethren, simply because it’s so bright, crisp, and light. (16/20)

Hazy amber. Good lacing. Fragrant grapefuit and pine aromas. Nice apricot, citrus fruit notes on palate. Just right amount of acrid, bittering hops on finish without overpowering the rest of the brew. A really great sessional style IPA.

355 ml bottle from a six-pack from Liquor Depot, served in a Guinness nonic pint. I thought I’d reviewed this one before in a twelve-pack mixer, but... Pours a lightly hazy, orange-tinged yellow hue with moderate carbonation and an eggshell-white cap of creamy head that holds together well and leaves rings of lace. Aroma features a pleasant host of citrus and resinous hops, all bright and fresh; flavor has initial menthol cooling on the lips, followed by piney and citric hops in refreshing harmony. Slightly thick but not oily or heavy, lightly astringent, with a finish that leaves the hop notes lingering no longer than necessary. An ideal session IPA at just 4.3% abv and a great beer overall - one will definitely leave you wanting another.

Extraordinary for an api with this ABV. Really bold big citrus flavorous with a little bread. Medium bodied, very bitter. Nice and refreshing. Touch of grass in there, really very good.

Slight fog. Yellow, with nice amount of foam. Aroma is really lemony, with soft cereal backing. Easy to drink. Bubbly. Lemon is a bit overpowering, but it’s a pleasant drink.

473 mL can. Semi hazy gold-amber pour. Couple fingers of fairly dense white head, some good retention. Nice brew with a fair bit of citrus and resinous pine hops bite. Definitely one I could have a few pints of.

16o can courtesy of Rob and Karen. Faded, past its prime aroma...oily vegetal hop residue. A touch of seltzer, not really that impressive at all. Unfiltered hazy tan body. Poor example of the style, at least in the condition I drank it ( 1 month past expiration)
