3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber beer with a bubbly off white head on top. Aroma has veggies, grass, fresh hops and vegetation. Hops have faded in the background. Flavor is medium bitter and fairly uninteresting. Decent drinkability, but nothing new under the sun here.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle from the LCBO. Amber body with thick frothy off-white head. Aromas of pine, fresh cut grass, earthy notes. Some caramel is present as well. Incredibly well integrated alcohol. The finish is exceptionally smooth and this beer is completely balanced.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sunuvagun! Cottage country Ontar-i-ar-i-o brewing some damn tasties. Huge juicy, floral hops barrel you with a velvety smooth assault, backed solidly by caramel malts, some light grassy and hay notes as well. It lives up to its description and earns its cork. There is even some subtle but present tastes of fresh earth and fallen leaves. Gorgeous colour of reddish gold, off white lacing from the lovely head the whole way down. The perfect balance of oily, chewy textures in a medium bodied, mid carbed ale. Damn Muskoka. Damn.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: Pours coppery brown colour with about a finger of white head.
Aroma: Hops, caramel
Flavours: Hops, biscuit, cloves and baking spices, caramel
Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated
Overall: A nice beer but not as balanced as in previous years. This year’s version trends towards the hoppy side of things, not that there is anything wrong with that. I just remember previous versions having a really nice malty component that seems lacking from this version.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
2014 vintage, Appearance is great, deep amber-brown colour and a well-formed rocky, lacy head. Feel is kind of oily or creamy at first, but not really big through the middle. The finish is very nice with a burst of bitter dryness at the end. Taste is bitter throughout, but tempered by an initial sweetness and that nice creamy feel. Really quite a good beer.
