750ml bottle. Pours ruby red colour with bubbly head that disapates to thin outer lacing. Aroma of citrus and grass. Flavour balances well between malty backbone and fresh citrusy hops. Fantastic beer and worth waiting till Autumn!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
2013 vintage with a tight cork closure. Cloudy and mahogany colour with a pillowy head that remains for quite a while. Fresh hoppy aroma with pine cones and a hint of citrus, some malts and more hops and a hint of yeast. The brew sports a creamy texture, has a hoppy bitter finish and very fresh hoppy taste. Tasty stuff!

Spicy melanoidin malt aroma with some pungent herbal hops. Almost clear ruddy amber under a thin, white sheet. Spicy melanoidin malt flavour complemented by floral and citrus hops. Medium light body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2013 vintage pours -- after a trying to pull the cork that was more bullish & uncooperative than the conservatives antiquated war on drugs policy -- is deep mahogany with a two finger plush cap that fades slowly. Aroma is somewhat muted. Fantastic taste is thick & hoppy. A great drink with hank Williams on the radio & the beer can chicken on the bbq as the summer dies on the day before labour day.

Copper brown colour, frothy head. Flip top (Grolsch type) bottle. Floral, citrus, earthy notes. Taste is more grapefruit meat than grapefruit peel. Sweetish, ends dry. Good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
pours unclear light brown-red with a somewhat frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. toastiness - fresh cereals, hay, green, oranges, citrus, few piney notes - wet-hopped, you have to like this style... some earthy and peppery notes. light to medium body - creamy, some sweetness, almost disturbing, short grassy finish. more than decent, for the style...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours beautifull amber with almost no head. Some lacing. Aroma is of malt, caramel, green. Taste is of malt, harsh bitterness. Palate: Medium body. Overall: Bitterness a bit naked for me. Harvest ales are not my cup of tea, but this one is acceptable.

Bottle (750 ml). Shared by czar, thanks! Amber with a medium creamy off-white head. Aroma is smooth with caramel, grassy notes and slight citrus. Taste is moderately sweet with caramel, grassy notes and citrus. Medium body. Drinkable. A tad too malty/heavy for my liking.
