3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at Canoe Restaurant, Toronto
Dark amber color with creamy head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, maybe some fudge. Very good toffee flavor, with smooth mouthfeel, and correct bitterness; the hop is quite resiny; long final. Balanced and bold. Very good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A dark reddish amber ale with a thick receeding moka head. In aroma, caramel malts, pinhey c-hops, quite nice and pleasant. In mouth, loads of caramel malts, with beautiful floral c-hops, grapefruit, nutty notes, a perfect harvest ale (in comparison to other recently tasted). Keep up the good work guys! Tasted Nov. 2010.

Malty aroma. Amber red coloured hoppy a little rich on the palate and fruity with a hint of dryness in a bitter grainy rye malt finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rich amber pour, frothy white head. Aroma is loaded with caramel, stone fruit, and hop pellets. Flavor is lighter than the aroma, hops, caramel malt. Beer is like a blend of a barleywine and pale ale. Interesting.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2012 Volo Cask Days 2009. A good bitterness from cascade hops, this is more of an American pale, with bold taste, a good bitterness, though not very balanced. Reddish with a soapy head. Easy drinking, average mouthfeel. Fresh hop taste to it. Neutral aroma.
Zythos and falconer Flight made it a very good pale in 2012.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber pour with an off-white head. The aroma is lightly spicy with a nice fresh hoppiness. Fairly assertive bitterness with a nice lingering hoppiness. Fresh malt and a bit of toasted malt character as well. Quite a nice surprise.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2009-10-31. Dark orange amber body with a small off-white head. 3+ Mild aroma, light citrus, oranges, muted hop resin. 6+ Flavour is similar with sweet oranges and a touch of leafy resin, muted kiss of pith, very mild caramel malt underneath. Average plus palate is flat. Less hop oomph than expected, but pleasant and quaffable, albeit a touch mild. Decent. Cask at Volo Cask Days 2009
