4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Lubiere (8239) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 1, 2011
A dark reddish amber ale with a thick receeding moka head. In aroma, caramel malts, pinhey c-hops, quite nice and pleasant. In mouth, loads of caramel malts, with beautiful floral c-hops, grapefruit, nutty notes, a perfect harvest ale (in comparison to other recently tasted). Keep up the good work guys! Tasted Nov. 2010.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2012 Volo Cask Days 2009. A good bitterness from cascade hops, this is more of an American pale, with bold taste, a good bitterness, though not very balanced. Reddish with a soapy head. Easy drinking, average mouthfeel. Fresh hop taste to it. Neutral aroma.
Zythos and falconer Flight made it a very good pale in 2012.
