Muskoka Harvest Ale was our brewery’s pioneering venture into seasonal beers. Now in it’s fourth year, our Harvest Ale symbolizes the end of the growing season and the process of gathering mature crops from the fields Dry hopped and brewed using the finest ingredients we can find, this ale has a subtle grassy character reminiscent of the freshly cut harvest. It’s our way of celebrating another prosperous growing season. And we’re proud to share it with you.

Beautiful amber colour. RIght off the bat, hit the fruity scent of fresh hops. Sweet passionfruit and caramel notes at the front, with a heavy, but not overpowering bitterness at the end.

Reviewed from old notes. Pours an opaque ruby brown colour with one finger of long lasting white head, lacing clinging to the side of the glass. Aroma of elder flower and peaches. Taste: Malty, grassy, with a dry hoppy finish

Longue amertume.

Poured medium brown, with tan frothy head. Fresh aroma, a little toast. Medium body, medium bitterness, with smooth mouth feel. A bit too bitter at the end for my preference.

Cask. (Rating #6009)

Pour is a hazy burnt orange with a finger of tan cap that fades fairly quickly to a ring. This stuff smells like fall. At first I don’t get much, but if I close my eyes and breathe deep I get grassy hops, hay and dry leaves and earth, with caramel, fresh apples and pears, and a bit of citrus. Taste up front is almost like apple cider with caramel and roasted grain, with a smooth, slightly bitter, long finish. It’s rustic and seasonal and perfectly befitting a brewery located in the Muskokas. It doesn’t really have the hop profile to be an APA, at least to this humble reporter, but it’s still awful damn tasty.

Amber color, small white head. Grassy, malty aroma. Light-bdoied for ABV. Pale malty, grassy hops. Some gooseberry notes in the hoppyness. Simple.

Corked and caged wine bottle. That might not be necessary. This beer just screams "dry hopped harvest APA!", which is what it is, and those are pretty good, so luckily things worked out tasting good, albeit a bit on the nose. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Dark copper in color with a whitish head. Bit of garden earthyness, some grassyness and later on even some citrus with little bit of spicy notes as well in aroma. Taste has got some grassyness and orange peel notes in it. Bit of grapefruit bitterness mixed with sweeter notes in the end.
