500 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy golden with a fair white froth. Aroma: Lots of banana and clove esters, some yeast and bread dough, slightly spicy and grassy, some sweet hay, biscuity malts, light vanilla (I think), pretty good Weizen nose. Palate: Medium+ body, fairly full and lively effervescence. Flav.: Much like the nose with dominant banana/clove esters, spicy, some yeast/dough, some lighter grass and hay, wheat character, a bit of toast/biscuit; dry with a hint of bitterness and a pleasant malty-banana finish.

Spot on, as far as I’m concerned.

Great summer beer, had a couple cans from the LCBO this weekend and really enjoyed them. Maybe not as complex or flavourful as some of the other hefe’s but very tasty none the less and extremely refreshing on a nice hot day. As a plus the mouthfeel is pleasant and carbonation is not overwhelming.

Can - 473ml. Hazy golden body with heavy carbonation and and instantly fading white bubbly head. Thin malty aroma with some strange barefoot-like hints. Boring malty/hoppy taste with bready, banana and yeasty notes. Ends with a barely noticeable bittersweet finish. It feels like I got a really bad sample.

(Rating #2522)

Pours a lightly hazy gold with a thin foamy head. The aroma is banana loaf, a touch of clove and yeast. The flavour is good, banana loaf, clove, some yeast, all and all very good. A touch of clove spice in the finish. An easy drinking, refreshing, tasty brew, good job Muskoka.

Can. Hazy yellow with a thin frothy head. Poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is typical weizen with banana esters, cloves, whet and malt. Flavor is also banana esters with cloves, wheat, yeast and malt. Medium body. Fizzy carbonation.

New single serve 500ml can, LCBO. Pours a nice light but hazy yellow with lots of streaming bubbles and a nice fluffy white head that does diminish too quickly. Nice clove, banana, yeast aroma - right on style. Taste is excellent - lots of banana and I think esters - not sure what those are, but that is the word that popped in my head, especially in the finish. Almost spicy in the finish as well. A beautiful Hefe - break out the re-ratings boys and drink this one all summer long, we finally have a solid Ontario made readily available Hefe!

Can: Poured a lightly hazy dirty orangey color ale with a rather large foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of bubblegum and banana is very nice. Taste is also a nice mix between some banana bread and bubblegum 3ith some quite delectable wheat malt. Body is about average with great carbonation. Very well done with some really interesting ester.
