A decent if slightly one dimensional addition to the Weiss beer. I go this under ’Muskoka Summer Weiss" and it was slightly expired. Nothing added to this beer as far as spice or citrus goes, just barley wheat hops and yeast, straight forward, and decent. It is an earthy beer, slightly bitter finish on a neutral start. Medium carbonation for the style. Boring yeast profile. It appears to be beer. Good body for the style, coats the tongue nicely and you can feel it going down. This is one of the few hefe’s that improves with added lemon in my opinion. Decent edition, has no bad characteristics many solid , and few good, no great... Just another solid entry.

330ml into an English pint. Pours a hazy golden with sparse head. Nose of grassy wheat and cloves and a bit of banana. Quite sweet, with a lasting citrusy aftertaste

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. An opaque light gold pour with a nice filmy head and good lacing. A wheaty light clove aroma. A nice smooth body with great wheaty spicy clove flavor, a touch bready. A really satisfying weizen. Much nicer than the Hop City.

Pours a slightly hazy light straw colour. The head died quickly and no lacing. Taste is of Bananas and cloves and citrus of course but the bananas lead the show. Very close to the Mill Street Wit, I’ll have to do a taste off and see who wins, but the Mill Street leads on the spice.

Tap at bar hop, toronto. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is light lemon, with a hint of custard. Light body, medium carbonation. Tart, with lemon, light raspberry, a hint of custard... Good balance, nice tart edge. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light golden, mildly cloudy. Strong aroma of fruit, banana and caramel in the aroma. Malt, caramel, fruit, hint of banana and apricot in the taste, mild metallic bitterness in the aftertaste. High in carbon, a bit watery.
