Served in: weizen A - a pale yellow colour that looks slightly darker than most hefes. also less cloudy than most typical hefeís iíve tried. one finger worth of head that doesnít stick around as long as most hefeís but laces well none the less. S - nice hints of banana and spicy aromas, the two things i love most about Hefeís! i can also smell a slight hint of citrus in there. T - The taste is similar to the smell. Lots of banana flavour and the citrus becomes more prominent (orange most likely). The spice isnít as prominent in the taste but its perfect for my liking! i can also see why some might think the taste doesnít live up to the smell, but either way iím loving it. M - slightly more carbonated than i expected (just perfect for me) and feels great on the tongue. very refreshing and goes down a lot smoother than i expected it too because of the carbonation. a light taste for sure with little alcohol coming through. O - a great beer from Muskoka! iíve really come to love their beers recently and this one did not dissapoint. hefeís are my favourite type of beer so i usually have high expectations and this one did just what i wanted it too! i recommend it to anyone who can get their hands on it as it is more than worth a try and could easily become one of my "go-to" summer beers. Serving type: bottle (this past summer)

Rating based on notes from some time ago... Bottle. Deeper orange pour, a little hazy, with a thinner head. Banana, citrus and wheat aromas. Citrus, banana, caramel, wheat and light hops in the flavour. Quite tasty, and full-bodied for a Hefe.

Minimal aroma - some notes of malt and hoppy citrus. Hazy golden colour. Flavours of wheat malt and a little bit of orange. Medium-light body with mild carbonation. Not the most flavourful beer, but definitely a great one to sip on a porch. I would buy a again.

Wow, Iím a little surprised how clear this beer is. golden colour. Muted aroma but there is banana, some spice, something leafy and apple on the nose. Medium to light body with a weird tomato juice taste that I donít enjoy. Banana and lees with a watery finish. Never having this terrible beer, especially for the style, again.

2013/09/03 - Pours a translucent honey colour with a small, bubbly, white head that reduces quickly to a surface film. Aroma is citrus, cloves, banana and honey. Taste is similar to nose; clove and banana up front with a sweet and citrus aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium with lim to medium carbonation and a slightly drying finish. Descent beer. Unremarkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light honey gold pour with a bubbly white head. Scant haze. Nose of mild citrus, straw/grass and some sweet banana. Good citrus off the get-go, softens out quickly. Lots of straw and wheat malts. Minimal spicing. Very dry. This bottle has a real "Club Soda-Like" finish. Not a lot of depth. Iíve had better bottles of this.

355ml bottle. Hazy yellow with foamy white head. Wheat, banana and cloves. Light, crisp and dry. A fine summer BBQ beer.

Pours with a nice haze. Aroma is yeasty with almos citrus notes in there. Tast is yeasty as well with a different yet good taste. Iím enjoying this Beer and nice to switch it up from my usual ipa.

On the warmest, stickiest night of the summer, seems like the Summer Weissebier is the only way to go. Aroma is primarily banana and clove, almost like a nice light banana bread with a little spice. Appearance is relatively clear, not lots of head, good lace, reasonable yellow. Taste is more spice, a little abrasive maybe? Not really sure what i mean there. Feel is very good, decently full but enough to make you want to drink a bunch of them.
