| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2008 Murky golden-orange in colour, thin white coloured head, some light lacing. The aroma was lightly spicy, some lemon citrus and bananas. The flavour is of bananas, wheat, light peppery spice, citrus. Full and spicy mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes lingering, light sweetness. This got better as it warmed, nicely done.

cloudy, light gold with a fair cap but not the large frothy cap you expect from a weizen.
Light Hefe weizen aromas: banana, apple, spice, light mustiness.
Flavour is lightly sweet, spicy and lightly fruity....dry middle and finish...spritzy and light...a solid servicable hefeweizen totally under rated and ignored for some reason......................>>>>>&g UPDATE:
Tried the new canned version and the freshness of the brew knocks my rating up a few points. Tessic (450), Brantford, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 28, 2007 This Hefeweizen poured a very light yellow colour with a bright white head. Scents include pineapple / ripe fruit, peppery grass and a little yeast. First taste was mildly yeasty with a little hop thrown in for a slight bitter finish. Alot like other hefwiezens, but not as yeasty as I’ve had before. hopdog (5556), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a lighter and slightly hazy straw color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of bananas, spices, and light citrus. Subtle tastes of bananas, wheat, and spices. Body on the thin side. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Out of the bottle.... Hazy yellow gold with thin off white head. Fruity aroma of spiced apple pie, slight banana notes.Favour has the same as the aroma however a bit more muted, slight citrus zing to it, again quite mute though. Light body makes it not too heavy to drink and makes it refreshing. Not bad I’ll have this again. StompBrockmore (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 29, 2007 Updated: Jun 30, 2007341ml bottle, courtesy VeloVampire - pours a lightly hazy, lightly yellow colour. Kind of on the pale side. Aroma is quite nice...spicy, with lots of lemon and a little banana. Unfortunately, this one falls short in flavour and body - it’s extremely light and much too watery. What’s there is alright, but it needs more volume. I’m glad that so many Ontario brewers are now producing wheat beers, but this one is a bit too shy. On the plus side, it’s very thirst quenching. Aftertaste lasts a while. VeloVampire (489), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Updated: Jul 26, 2007341 ml bottle - pours slightly cloudy straw colour with a short lived white head. Nice fresh aroma full of lemon, spice, banana and bubblegum. Flavour a little on the light side. The wheat flavours come at the back of the palate, and the fore is filled with spice and grain. A bit lighter and less full than I typically like my hefes, and not hugely true to style, but very refreshing nonetheless. Surprisingly good stuff, and a perfect summer quencher. Kudos for the use of organics.
