Tap at bar hop, toronto. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is light lemon, with a hint of custard. Light body, medium carbonation. Tart, with lemon, light raspberry, a hint of custard... Good balance, nice tart edge. Very drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light golden, mildly cloudy. Strong aroma of fruit, banana and caramel in the aroma. Malt, caramel, fruit, hint of banana and apricot in the taste, mild metallic bitterness in the aftertaste. High in carbon, a bit watery.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Label on bottle says Summer Weiss but ratebeer says this is the same beer.
Pours a hazy light straw colour with considerable carbonation. Very thin, quickly dissipating white head.
Aromas are heavy on bananas, with some definite clove presence, and some wheat.
Tastes are of bananas, cloves, citrus.
Overall, this is a very refreshing, light summer brew, and I shall enjoy every one of the six pack I purchased over the coming summer weeks.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of barley, citrus, and spices (coriander) I believe. Yellow and hazy with a light white head. The taste matches the aroma with a smokey aftertaste.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse; called Summer Weiss - quite clear dark golden-blond beer with a long lasting white foam; respectable notes of bananas and cloves; medium-bodied, quite moderate carbonation for its style; gently chewy and sweet; light residual sweetness and long notes of bananas and citrus - pretty nice

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20

A - a pale yellow colour that looks slightly darker than most hefes. also less cloudy than most typical hefe’s i’ve tried. one finger worth of head that doesn’t stick around as long as most hefe’s but laces well none the less.
S - nice hints of banana and spicy aromas, the two things i love most about Hefe’s! i can also smell a slight hint of citrus in there.
T - The taste is similar to the smell. Lots of banana flavour and the citrus becomes more prominent (orange most likely). The spice isn’t as prominent in the taste but its perfect for my liking! i can also see why some might think the taste doesn’t live up to the smell, but either way i’m loving it.
M - slightly more carbonated than i expected (just perfect for me) and feels great on the tongue. very refreshing and goes down a lot smoother than i expected it too because of the carbonation. a light taste for sure with little alcohol coming through.
O - a great beer from Muskoka! i’ve really come to love their beers recently and this one did not dissapoint. hefe’s are my favourite type of beer so i usually have high expectations and this one did just what i wanted it too! i recommend it to anyone who can get their hands on it as it is more than worth a try and could easily become one of my "go-to" summer beers.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rating based on notes from some time ago... Bottle. Deeper orange pour, a little hazy, with a thinner head. Banana, citrus and wheat aromas. Citrus, banana, caramel, wheat and light hops in the flavour. Quite tasty, and full-bodied for a Hefe.
